Bhubaneswar: More than 50,000 samples are being tested daily in Odisha over the past four days. The state has seen the highest number of crown tests in the last 24 hours. A total of 53,015 corona samples were tested from the state per day. Additional Chief Secretary Pradeep Mohapatra gave the information. In the last 24 hours, 7,43 antigen tests have been performed, while 506 RTPCRs and 113 trunks have been tested. Of the 30 districts, Ganjam has the highest number of 5354 crowns.
Out of 5068 RTPCR sample exams, RMRC 1782, AIMS 394 IISER 241, 12 from IGH, 448 from ICFM, SCB 715, 372 from MKCG, 192 from VMSR, 74 from BBMCH, 45 from SLNMCH, 289 from PRMACH and 289 from Odisha . The number of sample tests in the state exceeded one million yesterday. Over the last seven days in a row, more than 50,000 samples have been tested in the state, bringing the total number of samples to 1,062,08 in the state. Not only the increase in sample tests, the daily test positive rate (TPR) has dropped below 5. This is good news for the state in the Karona war.
