New Delhi: Bihar Assembly elections will be contested under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. BJP national president JP Nadda said this after talking to Nitish today about the seat deal. Ram Bilas Paswan’s LJP (Lok Janshakti Party) and Nitish-led JDU (Janata Dal United8) have been at loggerheads for some time, but today it is clear that the election will be held under the leadership of Nadda Nitish. But former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has tried to bridge the gap between the JDU and the LJP.
JP Nadda is currently on a two-day visit to Bihar. Nadda today discussed the seat deal at the residence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish. The meeting was attended by former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav and deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi. Fadnavis is running the BJP’s election campaign in Bihar. The BJP is expected to contest more seats in the next general election. It will be announced soon which party will get how many seats. The 273-seat Bihar Assembly elections will be held in October-November.
