Bhubaneswar: All tourist attractions in the state will be open to the public in October next year under the Kovid cut-off. This was informed by State Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi on the occasion of World Tourism Day. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. “The tourism industry in the state has suffered the most because of Covid,” he said. Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi also announced that eco-retreats would be held at five locations this year.The tourism minister also said that the temple administration would decide on the opening of the Shree Gannath temple in Puri. The law department, on the other hand, will decide when other temples will open.
