NEW DELHI: Opposition leaders jointly called on President Ramnath Kobind this afternoon to persuade the government to accept their demands as farmers intensify their agitation by demanding the repeal of the agricultural law. Chief opposition Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and some other opposition parties; Leaders of many other parties, including the NCP, DMK, CPI-M, met President Ramnath Kobind and handed over a memorandum to the President. Opposition leaders told the media that the central government had passed the farming bill without proper consultation and consultation. In this regard, they told the President that all opposition parties should be sent for a in-depth discussion on the agriculture bill and that it should be sent to the selection committee. The manner in which the government passed the bill without discussion is completely undemocratic. The way the bill was implemented was an insult to the country’s farmers. They have therefore urged the President to persuade the government to repeal this agricultural law.
