MUMBAI: As the share price of Bajaj Auto in the stock market has risen, it has emerged as one of the most valuable two-wheeler companies in the world. The company is valued at more than Rs 1 lakh crore in the stock market. Bajaj Auto shares on the National Stock Exchange have reached a high of Rs 34 per share. No other two-wheeler company in the world has reached such a level to this day. Rajeev Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Auto, said the company has emerged as the world’s most valuable two-wheeler company due to its emphasis on the motorcycle category and its desire to be global with its efforts to stand out from the rest. “This standard will inspire us to serve our customers and make them even happier,” he said. In addition to its own brand, Bajaj Auto also sells bikes from Swedish motorcycle company KTM4. It is building a tram bike in India, as well as an affiliate with the UK’s Tramp4 motorcycle.
