Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed happiness over the 55 per cent increase in state exports by November 2020, despite the effects of the corona epidemic. Addressing the State Export Awards Ceremony-2021, he said that despite the global downturn and intense competition in the international market, this is a remarkable achievement by our state’s exporters. He hopes the trend will continue in the coming days. The district-level export promotion committee set up in the state is working to bring local goods to the world. The departmental stores in the United States and Europe will soon be filled with products made by the Women’s Self-Help Group (SHHGG) in Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Malkanagar, the chief minister said. He called on exporters to make Odisha an export hub. On the occasion, Industries Minister Divya Shankar Mishra said that Odisha has a great opportunity to become one of the leading exporting states in the country. Today, the State Export Awards for the 2018-19 and 2018-19 financial years have been awarded. A total of 24 exporters have been awarded. Large industrial categories Vedanta namesake, TCS-Bhubaneshwar, NALCO, debuted Marine -Bhubaneswar, Indian Rare financial Limited, , Ferro Cooperation Limited, paper Mills and Balasore Awarded. Vedanta Jharsuguda has been awarded the Best Exporters Award, while some companies have been awarded Certificates of Excellence and others have been awarded Certificates of Merit with trophies. Similarly, in the small and small categories, Tera Block Machinery, JP Handlum, Trimurti Art and Crafts, Shibalay Multiflex, Magma Foods, RJ B Agrawala and Company, Odisha Solutions Ltd. RRB Agrawal & Company has been awarded the Best Exporters Award for two years.
