Another bridge is connected to the river. The much-awaited T-bridge from Banki-Baideshwar to Badamba Gopinathpur is set to be inaugurated on the 20th. The construction of the bridge will make it easier to connect Bhubaneswar-Puri-Khordha-Nayagarh-Brahmapur with Dhenkanal, Anugul and Baiddha districts. The T-bridge was built in the middle of the Mahanadi near Banki Baideshwar in Cuttack district.
The bridge is 3 km long and 117 m long, and is called the T-Bridge as it is connected to the Singhnath Shaivapith from the middle of the pole. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate it on the 20th. The foundation stone was laid in 2014, but was delayed due to technical problems.
