It was previously thought that since there is no atmosphere in space, no sound can be heard there. Therefore, it was previously believed that eternal silence prevails in space. But the American space research agency NASA has dismissed this idea as insignificant.
In a tweet on behalf of NASA Exoplanets, a part of NASA, it is said that “Earlier, we had a misconception that sound cannot be heard in space, because there is no atmosphere in space, so there is no way for sound waves to travel.” But a galaxy (star cluster) contains gas and we have recorded sound from it. “We present the sound recorded from a black hole by amplifying it and combining it with other data.”
It is worth noting that NASA Exoplanets searches for planets and life outside our solar system.
