The company wants to continue trading only in the 50 markets where sales are notable in the world, ”said Joachim Gitz, chairman of Harley Davidson. He made the announcement while announcing the company’s April-June results. In the 2019-20 fiscal year, Harley Davidson sold about 2,500 bikes in India and exported 2,100 bikes from here. The company has sold 2,10,000 bikes worldwide this year. In April-June this year, Harley’s sales and exports fell by 6% and exports by 40% due to the effects of the coronary epidemic.
Harley Davidson has created a project called “Dream4” to restructure his business. As a result, the company has eliminated 500 positions from around the world.
