Dubai: Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Shreyas Ayyar’s Delhi Capitals by a huge margin of 59 runs in the 19th match of the IPL4. With that, the Mumbai Indians topped the points table, beating the Indians. The Delhi Capitals scored 17 runs in the match, which was played at the Dubai Sports City Stadium. In reply, the star-studded RCB lost wickets at regular intervals and scored only 136 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Moin Ally, who replaced AB de Villiers, Devdatta Padikal and Adam Jampa, failed. Aaron Finch also scored just 13 runs. Most of Delhi’s bowlers, on the other hand, bowled out and injured the RCB.After losing three key batsmen inside the power play, the RCB’s back-to-back runs were lost from the start. Captain Kohli, 43, tried to fight alone. Kagiso Rabada, however, caught him in the 14th over at the hands of Rushab Pant to seal the Delhi victory. On Monday, RCB won their second match of the fifth match and Delhi their fourth win of the same number of matches.
