Harichandanpur: Flipkart card has been signed with Bhagamunda toss committee in Harichandanpur block of Kendujhar district. The toss is made of 14 types of toss items such as sarees, scarves, jackets, northerners, shirt fabrics made from Silk Park and can now be purchased from Flipkart. The products produced here were sold at various exhibitions. So now the world can get this stuff through Flipkart.

Bhagamunda Tosser Committee is encouraging Tosser farmers to train Tosser farmers. Through this committee, the tossers are planting trees for the cultivation, supplying seeds and buying tossers from the farmers. Some farmers earn millions of dollars a year by cultivating toss. Two hundred tribals, poor, innocent women from Kendujhar, Jajpur, Dhenkanal and other districts are cutting toss threads with modern machines. One woman has become self-sufficient by cutting yarn from a toss and earning 200 rupees a day. But in Kerona, they have lost their livelihoods. For the past 10 days, 20 women have been coming to the committee to cut yarn because of orders coming through Flipkart. Pradyumna Kumar Mohapatra, production manager of Tosar Silk Park, said women who would cut yarn as needed would be called after the village corona cut. According to Mohapatra, a man from Haryana who took the first sari at a cost of Rs 9,455 on Flipkart on August 28.
