New Delhi: A seat deal between the BJP and the JDU for the Bihar assembly elections has been finalized today. The JDU is set to contest 122 seats and the BJP 121 seats. In the 243-seat assembly, both parties will field each other from their respective quota, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said. Senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi has said that the BJP-JDU coalition led by Nitish will contest the by-elections and that Nitish will be the next Chief Minister. Speaking at a press conference after the seat deal was finalized today, he said it would never succeed if the LJP tried to create confusion and take advantage. The LJP is now trying to create a rift between the BJP and the JDU and confuse the people by using photos of the Prime Minister. Sushil Modi said the party would file a complaint with the Election Commission soon.
