Bhubaneswar: The BJP has alleged that the ruling BJP has violated the code of conduct to influence voters in the Balasore by-elections. A BJP delegation met the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) today and handed over a memorandum. The BJP has alleged that the BJP has been working on road construction and tube wells with the aim of getting votes in the Balasore by-elections.A new power transformer has been installed to bring voters from Srirampur gram panchayat to their side. In the villages of Mashdih, Nima, Khiram, Satar, Puran, Gunduripada, Khadi Kapada, Garadih and Srirampur, roads have been set up. Two days later, a new transformer was installed by Nesco to connect the Srirampur panchayat to the electricity grid. An office branch of the Electricity Employees Federation (approved by the Biju Workers Union) was inaugurated on the 16th in Nesco Zone, Balasore. In doing so, the ruling BJP has openly violated the code of conduct. The delegation demanded that the CEO conduct an impartial investigation into the incident and take firm action against the culprits. Photos and videos of all these activities were also provided to the CEO. The delegation included state secretary Pinky Pradhan, spokesperson Yatin Mohanty and legal coordinator Jayant Jena.
