In the 2014 elections, the Dhabalpur Panchayat Samiti member was elected unopposed. The sarpanch lost the BJD-backed candidate and won as a non-BJP. But after the election, the sarpanch shook hands with the BJP. However, the dispute has been raging here for four years as the sarpanch and the committee members are two factions. Which has had an impact on development work. All development work is stalled. “In each case, they have seized it, despite obstacles we can scarcely imagine.” Even at the party level, efforts were made to explain the two groups, but to no avail. As a result, the opposition ward members have gone to the door of the sub-district magistrate of Bhanjanagar to express their disbelief against the sarpanch.
