New Delhi: The country will celebrate Subhash Bose’s birthday on January 23 every year. A statement from the Ministry of Culture said, “Every year, the country celebrates its birthday as ‘Power Day’ to honor and commemorate Netaji’s selfless service to the country.” On the occasion of Netaji’s birthday, the Central Government wants to once again refresh the unparalleled contribution of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to our country. Celebrating his birthday as ‘Power Day’ will inspire the country’s youth. “In the recent past, the Indian government has taken a number of steps to preserve the precious heritage of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose,” the statement said. A museum on Netaji has been set up at Red Fort in New Delhi, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 23.01.2018.
