Bhubaneswar: New Army Deputy Chief Chandi Prasad Mohanty made a big statement at a press conference at Sainik School. Reacting to the Indo-China dispute, he said China would think a hundred times before attacking India. India is a nuclear-armed state and the Indian Army is one of the most powerful in the world. Now the world is changing rapidly in warfare. Neighboring China is helping to modernize its military as well as the Pakistani military. However, the Indian Army is more modern than its neighbors. The state-of-the-art weapons and equipment that the Indian youth are using are quite powerful. “The Indian Army is ready to deal with any situation,” he said. Similarly, Chandi Prasad Mohanty has called for more Oriya youth to join the army. “We are proud of the country and the state,” he said.
