Bhubaneswar: The National Statistics Office (NSSO) under the Government of India will launch a survey on people’s incomes, expenditures and savings. The pilot survey will be conducted in three states, including Odisha. The survey will begin on the 21st of this month and end on the 21st of May. 132 villages and 108 cities in the state have been selected as samples. The survey will be conducted nationwide after the pilot survey is completed. The survey will provide information on the annual income, expenditure and savings of families, including SHHGG and the Partnership Enterprise. ସଦସ୍ୟ The survey will include members of families with and without self-employed people, partnership companies and SHHGGs. The Bhubaneswar NSSO (FOOD) office has organized a three-day regional training program in Bhubaneswar for officials to conduct field surveys. The training program was inaugurated on the 7th by NSLO (FOOD), New Delhi Additional Director SL L4 Minaria. The special observer was Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Director, NSSO (FOOD), New Delhi. KP Mishra, Deputy Director General of the NSSO (FOOD) office in Bhubaneswar, officiated. Deputy Director Somnath Jana thanked. Mr. Minaria appealed to the families, enterprises and SHHGs of Odisha to participate in the survey to assist the field level officials.
