NEW DELHI: The central government is considering buying around Rs 5 lakh crore-18 in the first allocation for Thai servicemen, army personnel and certain other categories of individuals who are serving Thai people close to the coronavirus virus. The government will arrange for supply chains and distributions if regulations such as regulatory requirements, etc. are approved and vaccines are available. The vaccine will be given first to other Thai Covid-16 patients who are nearby and are open to infection. The vaccine will be available to the general public as soon as possible.
In addition, as many vaccines are being prepared at the same time, at the end of this year or early next year, domestic vaccine manufacturers have asked the government to assess the required vaccines, government officials said. No matter how much the demand is high, they have promised to provide the vaccine as per the estimates.
