NEW DELHI: Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Sunday said that despite actress Kangana Ranaut comparing Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, it was unfortunate that the BJP supported Kangana Ranaut in view of the Bihar polls.
In his weekly column Rokhok in the army spokesperson ‘Samana’, Sanjay Raut claims that a systematic effort is underway to downplay the importance of Mumbai and that defaming Mumbai is part of the conspiracy.
Sanjay Raut said it was a difficult time when all Marathi people in Maharashtra should unite. In support of Kangana Ranaut and the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the BJP wants to win the Bihar elections with high caste Rajput and Kshatriya votes, he said. He questions how relevant it is to call it “surgical strike” when it comes to demolishing an illegal building by an actress.
