Good news for the people of Western Odisha. From today, the flight service from Jharsuguda to Mumbai has started. An Indigo Airbus departed from Jharsuguda Veer Surendra Sai Airport today with 91 passengers. It can accommodate 180 passengers. It is reported that this flight will operate every day of the week.
It is worth noting that Star Air started its third route from Jharsuguda Airport to Raipur on 2nd of last month. Airport Director Sandeep Tiwari officially launched it. Star Air’s station manager and airport staff were present on this occasion. After lighting the lamp and cutting the cake, the first passenger was given boarding cards. 49 people traveled to Raipur on the first day.
This airline service operates on the Jharsuguda-Raipur-Jharsuguda route three days a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. Star Air has started its services from Jharsuguda to Lucknow. Earlier, the company had started flight services on the Jharsuguda to Hyderabad route.
