BOLPUR: Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Sushri Mamata Banerjee today staged a reaction rally exactly a week after Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s victory parade in the city of World Bharati University in the Indian city of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore in Bolpur, West Bengal. In the run-up to next year’s West Bengal Assembly elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lashed out at the BJP. Ten days ago, some legislators, including a West Bengal minister, resigned from the Trinamool Congress and joined the BJP. Outraged by the incident, Mamata Banerjee went on to call senior BJP leader Amit Shah, saying, “You can buy some legislators, but not the grassroots Congress.” Calling the BJP a party of outsiders, Mamata Banerjee said Rabindranath Tagore’s state would never allow anyone to win over politics and secularism in the future or in the future.
