New Delhi: While the effects of the corona epidemic have not gone away, the central government is all set to begin budgeting for the next financial year (2020-21). The process will begin on the 16th of this month. Pre-budget discussions will be held. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Finance Ministry officials will hold talks with various stakeholders to try to find out what they expect from the budget. The budget was presented in the morning on the last day of February in the wake of the by-elections. But the budget is being presented on February 1 in the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. Budget proposals have been in place since the beginning of the new financial year. Although the budget is presented to parliament within a few hours, it takes months to prepare.
