Bhubaneswar: Odisha has no plans to borrow from the market through bonds in the October-December quarter. The Reserve Bank of India has released information on plans to borrow from states and centers. It does not have the name of Odisha. By December, it will have borrowed Rs 22,224 crore from various markets. The bonds will be auctioned off by the Reserve Bank every week.In October, various states will borrow Rs 4,531 crore from October 8, 13, 20 and 26. Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala will borrow from the market at various stages. In November, states will borrow Rs 4,083 crore on November 3, 10, 14 and 28. It will also borrow from Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh markets this month. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the states and union territories will borrow Rs 6,728 crore on December 1, 9, 15, 22 and 24 in December. Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Telangana will borrow in December.
