Dr. to be inaugurated further. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has decided to establish a police outpost at Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bus Terminal. 89 police officers will be recruited.
It is worth noting that the construction of this interstate bus terminal in the 5T initiative has reached the final stage. It will be launched soon. 07 to 800 buses will ply here daily. The number of buses may increase from 1700 to 1800 in future. It is estimated that 35,000 to 45,000 passengers will come and go every day.
5T Chairman Karthik Pandian visited the under-construction terminal on various occasions to review its progress along with officials and locals, and a proposal for a police outpost here for the safety and convenience of passengers came up. After discussing this with Chief Minister Pandian, the Chief Minister has decided to set up a police outpost here.
The terminal will have a restaurant for passengers, ample car parking, food center, boarding and alighting facilities for passengers, seating for 144 buses, seating for city buses and a supermarket. Therefore, the importance of the security system is very high here.
89 police personnel will be recruited in this outpost. Out of this there will be 2 sub-inspectors, 9 assistant sub-inspectors, 4 habildars, 72 constables and 2 drivers.
