NEW DELHI: President Ramnath Kobind met representatives of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust 4, who came on Friday to provide financial support from the President for the construction of the Ram temple, and handed over Rs 5,100 from his personal account. The President handed over a check for Rs 500,000 to them in the name of ‘Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust4’. He went to the Presidential Palace and met with the President. The trust is authorized to raise funds for the construction of the temple. Fundraising campaigns will be launched in 52,50,000 villages and the money raised will be deposited in the bank within four hours. Donations of more than Rs 20,000 will be accepted as checks. The fundraising campaign will begin on January 15 and end on February 28.
