Jajpur / Rasulpur: Kuakhia police have detained two people in connection with the killing and dumping of a student at Ramadevi Women’s University. Police have also identified two suspects. Informatively, a student of Ramadevi Women’s University has been killed! The two youths left the body of the student in a red scooter and threw it on a road in Jajpur district. The incident has caused a stir since he was captured on CCTV. The dead student’s identity has also been found. She is Jharaful, 21, daughter of Ramakant Nayak of Tarundeipashi village under Yashipur police station in Mayurbhanj district. Ramadevi is a second year student at the University. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. According to eyewitnesses, two suspects came in a scooter and threw some stones near Dialakhand on Mulapala-Brahmabarada road under Kuakhia police station, according to eyewitnesses. The scene is being captured on a CCTV attached to a nearby etafactory. Some of the people working in that area also saw it and immediately got there. There was the body of a young woman, with an air bag lying on the side of the road. On hearing the news, Kuakhia police officer Manoj Kumar Swai reached Sadalbale. SDPO Chinmay Nayak also arrived there shortly after and started the investigation. Rasulpur tahsildar Jyotikant Bhujbal was taken to Kuakhia police station by ambulance after examining the body. The air bag found at the scene was opened in the presence of the tehsildar. Some of the clothes, books, accounts and cosmetics were found in it. Wet clothes were found inside a polythene. A student at the Ramadevi University hostel in Bhubaneswar, where the dead young woman was staying, was arrested after contacting the phone number written on the note. The deceased student was identified.
