Jajpur: A robbery took place in Byasanagar, Jajpur district last night. At around 2.306pm, five miscreants broke into a local resident’s grill and broke into his home. The homeowner was reportedly seriously injured in the attack. The injured are Vidyadhar Raut. He has been admitted to hospital for treatment.Upon hearing the news, police arrived at the scene and seized an unexploded ordnance from there. The miscreants looted about Rs 3 lakh in gold and some cash. The homeowner stole the money from his closet with the gold he was wearing. The landlord alleges that they looted about Rs 1 lakh. Notably, police had earlier arrested two major robbers from Byasanagar.
