Bhubaneswar: ‘I will die Sina, but I will not let anyone else ruin my life’. The suicide of a student in the capital after writing some suicide note notes has caused a stir. A police investigation has revealed that the student eventually committed suicide by blaming her boyfriend for the bitterness in the love affair. One such sensitive incident took place in Unit-4 area under Nayapalli police station. Police arrested Dibyalochan Das, 24, of Nuaga Vijayavihar area under Dhuli police station today and sent him to jail after his bail was denied after a court appearance. The student who committed suicide was Sarita Das of Unit-4. Based on the allegations made by Sarita’s father, Ajay Das, the police have registered a case under Section 304 (inciting suicide) of the IPC. Police seized three pages of suicide notes and a mobile phone from the scene and are continuing their investigation. According to police, Sarita has passed the BBA. Similarly, the accused boyfriend graduated from Divyalochan Commerce. Both were undergoing pharmacy assistant training at an educational institution in Sahidnagar. They had been in a relationship for almost a year. Later, love became bitter. Sarita has made several phone calls and messages to Divyalochan on the 14th. But with no response, police later learned that he had committed suicide by wearing a veil. Police are seizing both Sarita and accused Dibyalochan’s mobile phone and trying to extract information from it. The mobile phone will be sent to a forensic laboratory. The print out and forensic evidence of the message is important, an official said.
