Sundergarh: Two people have been detained at the police station on suspicion of involvement in the Sundergarh massacre. This is the relationship between son-in-law and mother-in-law. The son-in-law’s name is Bhaja Oram. The deceased Ramesh Singh had an affair with his mother-in-law. It was opposed by Bhaja Oram. However, preliminary investigation revealed that Ramesh Singh was killed as he did not refrain from doing so. The body of Ramesh Singh, a villager of Kirei panchayat, was found in the backyard of the Ambiance Hotel on the Biju Expressway in Sundergarh town yesterday. His amputated arm was rescued at noon. The knee has only bones on the top while the arms are underneath. The body was later recovered. He is thought to have survived an earlier attempt to oust him following Mr Jiang’s intervention. Police are investigating.
