Bhubaneswar: The state government has allotted land to 24 companies through IDCO for industrial projects to be set up in the state. The projects will have an investment of Rs 54 crore and will create 3,265 direct jobs. This was revealed at a meeting of the High-Capacity Land Allocation Committee chaired by Chief Secretary Asit Tripathi at the Lok Seba Bhavan. Chief Secretary Shri Tripathi has directed to complete the project work within the stipulated time. Informing about the projects, Sanjay Kumar Singh, CMDD, IDCO, said that the investment in marine food processing, information and technology, agricultural product processing, motor vehicles, tourism, light equipment, warehousing, seed processing and equipment construction would be important. Of the land allotted projects, 12 were proposed through state-level single windows and 15 through district-level single windows. Land will be provided at Deras C-Food4 Park for B-One Business House’s seafood processing, Falcon’s seafood processing, Intech Tech India’s shrimp food processing industry. Land will be allotted for clusters in Balianta in Khordha and Anantapur in Khordha for the Pahal Rasgola Common Facility Center. It was decided at today’s meeting to allocate land in Bhubaneswar, Chhatabar, Khordha Food Processing Park, Yawla, and Chandka industrial areas for the 14 MS4MEE projects through the district single window. The Chief Administrative Secretary and Principal Secretaries of the Department of Development and Technical Education, Information and Technology, the BMC Commissioner and the Khordha District Commissioner were present.
