Bhubaneswar, (Mohammad Hifjour Raheman): The opposition has an important role to play in a democratic system. The stronger the opposition, the more vigilant the government will be. But after the 2014 and 2014 election disasters, the Congress, known as the main opposition party at the national level, seems to be losing its importance. As the situation continues, there is a risk that the Congress will become completely insignificant in a few more years. To get out of this situation, 23 senior leaders of the Gandhi family, who are very loyal to the Gandhi family, wrote a letter to the party’s interim president, Sonia Gandhi. Instead of directly rejecting the letter out of loyalty to the Gandhi family, the CWC needed to consider in detail the issues raised in the letter.
According to political analysts monitoring the situation, the current crisis in the Congress is imminent. One of the reasons for this crisis is Rahul Gandhi. Under his leadership, the Congress contested the 2014 elections. He resigned after the election, and his mother, Sonia, has been in charge since then. But most surprisingly, his behavior and pronunciation remain the same as that of a Congress leader, even though he is not the party’s president. This is stated in the G-23 letter. They have emphasized the need for sustainable and visible leadership in Congress.
