Bhubaneswar: The Ujjwala scheme has particularly affected the lives of the poor during the Karona epidemic. The scheme has reached 4 crore households, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the inauguration of three petroleum projects in Bihar today. He has unveiled the three projects through video conferencing from New Delhi. Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present on the occasion. The three projects launched are the expansion of the Paradip-Haldia-Durgapur-Muzaffarpur pipeline to Banka, the production of 7.5 million cylinders of Indian Oil in Banka and the capacity of Hindustan Petroleum in Champaran with a capacity of 120,000 liters. Dharmendra said the pipeline and two other project missions were a big step forward. “The project will be very helpful in making India self-sufficient,” he said. He said the Baroni refinery, which had been shut down in Bihar under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had been operationalized.
