The 45-day-long Mahakumbh 2025 concluded on Mahashivaratri. However, devotees thronged the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj for a holy dip. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has felicitated officers, employees and institutions. After the Mahakumbh gathering, Yogi interacted with the boatmen. Yogi said that after registration, each boatman will be given an insurance scheme of Rs 5 lakh. Funds will be given to buy a boat. Those who do not have health insurance will be included in the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
After the Mahakumbh, the Chief Minister reached Prayagraj and was seen cleaning the Arail Ghat of the Ganges. After this, CM Yogi announced to give awards to the sanitation workers and health workers who served the people in the Mahakumbh. The Chief Minister Yogi announced to give a bonus of Rs 10,000 to the sanitation workers who served in the Mahakumbh.
Chief Minister Yogi said that during the Mahakumbh, crores of people come every day. Such a huge gathering has never happened anywhere in the world. 66 crore 30 lakh devotees gathered and there were no incidents like kidnapping, looting, harassment. We were keeping the priorities in mind. And everything has been done keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, said Yogi.
